"Each drop of water does not come easy. Water conservation goes beyond a mere campaign; it has to be a sustained and collaborative effort," said President Halimah Yacob.
Indeed, the government had made constructive plans and invested heavily in technology and infrastructures to ensure that there is clean and sustainable water supply for Singapore. But that alone is not enough. With water demand projected to double by 2060, water security remains a challenge for Singapore.
